Next door to the café is the Wine Haus, which has the biggest and best selection of wine and beer in the area.

 The Lil' Bayou restaurant, located about a 5-minute walk away, serves delicious Cajun and Creole food. On the same block is The Stand, a tasty Mexican restaurant. Don't let the rough looking exterior fool you. This place is practically revered by the locals in Seaside.

Also very close by are many different churches, a daycare center, the Prom Bike Shop for bicycle and surrey rentals, video stores, thrift and antique shops. For the somewhat more adventurous there are also a couple of surf and diving shops, a costume shop, and a tattoo parlor.
